"BLUE"

The Belted Kingfisher's crown is blue

The Blue Jays shades come in quiet a few

The Kestrel's blue wing separates he from she

And the Indigo Bunting is something to see

There's nothing gross about the Blue Grosbeak

The Nuthatch's movement is like a blue streak

Tree Swallows mix the blue with green

The ring around the Doves eye is seldom seen

Great Blue Herons stand proud and tall

And the Peacock outshines them all

But the thing about blue that sets the pace
Is the sweet expression on the Bluebirds face

Chatt-A-Birdin' thanks Bob Eden, Charles Dean, Jack Gentle, Richard Schier and Harold Sharp for the photo's.
