Regions Bank will celebrate the
opening of its new Ooltewah branch with a block party for the local
community on Saturday, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The new branch is located at 5596 Little Debbie Parkway in front of the new Wal-Mart Shopping Center.
Highlights include:
. Face painting
. A giant slide and moonwalk
. Give Blood at the Blood Assurance Blood Mobile
. Free piggy banks
. Pet adoptions from the McKamey Animal Care Center
. Lunch for all from Sticky Fingers BBQ
"Regions is committed to being a good neighbor in Ooltewah," said Dan Smith,
our neighbors and welcoming the community to our new branch. We want
everyone to know that quality service is our top priority and customers can
count on us for hometown hospitality and rewarding banking relationships."
Mr. Smith added that Regions' employee "Pedal Patrol" will be out in full force all week during the celebration meeting local residents and business owners, inviting everyone to the Saturday celebration and performing random acts of kindness that could range from free coffee and breakfast to buying them an appetizer at a restaurant.
The "Pedal Patrol" symbolizes Regions ad campaign, which emphasizes why
customers should expect more and the financial guidance Regions provides to
help customers reach their destination in life.
Grand Opening Sweepstakes and Giveaways
. Visitors can enter for a chance to win a $500 cash prize and grab cash in
the on-site money machine. The festive fanfare continues as they also can
vie for a chance to win a 2008 Mercedes-Benz E320 BLUETEC sedan as part of the bank's "Expect More Green" Sweepstakes - all the details for both will be shared at the block party.
. Weeklong (Monday, March 24 - Saturday, March 29): $20 cash or value in gift cards from neighborhood retailers when customers open a Regions Visa CheckCard with a new checking account

"A block party and sweepstakes on such a grand scale is not your traditional
way to open a branch, but we're not your typical bank," said Michael Mathis, city president for Regions Bank. "During previous grand opening events, we've hosted hundreds of area residents, and we hope our new neighbors in the Ooltewah area will stop by and have some fun."
Regions' newest branch will bring the bank's Chattanooga area branch total
to 25. The new branch is a full-service office with specialists in wealth management, consumer, small business and commercial banking, and mortgage lending.
