Area franchisors and franchisees will gather at the Chattanooga law offices of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC on April 8 for a teleconference of the spring meeting of the International Franchise Association’s, Franchise Business Network.
The quarterly session will focus on local store marketing with presentations from Pam Daly, a brand marketing specialist with BK & Associates who has consulted Golden Corral and Damon’s Grill; and John Boyens of the Boyens Group, a sales consulting organization whose past clients include Orkin Pest Control and FastSigns.
Baker Donelson attorney Joel Buckberg will update participants on the latest developments in franchise law.
The Franchise Business Network brings local franchisors, franchisees and suppliers together on a regular basis to create business-to-business and grassroots networking opportunities.
The IFA is the world’s oldest and largest trade group representing franchising. Its members include more than 75 industries from auto repair to weight loss, daycare to travel agencies. According to the latest IFA study presented in January, the economic impact of franchising in Southeast Tennessee generates an estimated $4.8-billion in goods, services and payrolls.
The Chattanooga teleconference is free to franchisors, franchisees and suppliers, but reservations are required by April 4.
