Over 100 Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce volunteers will deliver a big "thank you" to more than 550 businesses that have joined the Chamber during the past four years.
The 2008 Operation Thank-You, dubbed Spring into Business, will take place on March 27 starting at 8 a.m. at the Chattanoogan Hotel.
The annual Chamber business appreciation day will conclude with "Business After Hours," from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Chattanoogan.
Participants will enjoy hors d’oeuvres and beverages and win door prizes, as well as networking with scores of area business people.
“The volunteers, many of whom are Chamber Ambassadors, will let the businesses know that the Chamber appreciates their membership,” said Mandy Senn, Chamber member relations manager. “They’ll distribute goody bags, filled with valuable promotional items, and invite the members to take advantage of the Chamber’s many meetings, training programs and other services.”
Business After Hours is sponsored by the Chattanoogan Hotel and AT&T Real Yellow Pages.
Operation Thank You sponsors are Hospice of Chattanooga, Inc., MetLife, University of Phoenix, Bethel College, AT&T Yellow Pages, Covista Communications, Best Buy, Interscape, Inc. and Northwest Georgia Bank.
