Lt. Tim Carroll is my choice for sheriff.
I've known Tim Carroll for more than 10 years, and have always been impressed with his candor, his caring, and his knowledge. We have spoken often about his passion for completing a successful investigation, shown by the city of Chattanooga's homicide clearance rate at 80%, which is above the national average.
When Tim and I first spoke about the possibility of his bid for sheriff, his concerns were not with the election, and he did not focus on the prestige of the office, but instead he started to plan how he could make a difference by assuring that our schools were protected with resource officers, that crime prevention was number one, and what steps could be taken to improve our jail.
He cares for his family and will care for all our families. Please join me in supporting Tim Carroll for sheriff of Hamilton County.

Tomorrow the Republican candidate for sheriff will be determined by the Hamilton County Republican Party delegates. I would like to go on record in support of Lieutenant Tim Carroll as the Republican candidate for sheriff.
I have known Tim and his wife for over nine years, and have always been impressed with his plain spoken honesty. He has integrity, and he is an effective officer of the law. He has utmost respect for the law while maintaining compassion for those affected by a crime.
Our community will be well served by Tim Carroll as sheriff.
