Crime Stoppers; Help Needed In Identifying Body Remains posted March 27, 2008 This week Chattanooga Police homicide detectives are asking for help in identifying human remains that were found Oct. 26 at 3430 Plumwood Road in the Eastdale area of Chattanooga. Around 11:30 a.m. the resident of 3430 Plumwood Road found a human skull on the ground next to the roadway. A search of the immediate area was conducted and other human remains were found. Police state the remains have been identified as a bi-racial male, approximately 25-45 years old. The clothing found on the remains include a gray Gildan Active Wear XL T-shirt, C H Bass ¾ length blue jean shorts, size 40, white and blue plaid Fruit of the Loom boxers XL, black brown reversible belt, size 42-44, white socks, and black high top Nike Air tennis shoes, size 10. There was a small tag stapled to a belt loop which read 5 344 that appears to be a dry cleaning tag. Police also located a 410 Derringer lying near the remains. Police and the Hamilton County Medicals Office are attempting to identify the remains. To report someone missing who matches this clothing description, or recognize the gun, call Crime Stoppers.
