Jane Elizabeth Brown, 87, of Collegedale, died on Thursday, March 27, 2008.
She was born and spent her early years in Illinois and then moved to Madison, TN in the late 50’s. In the 1970’s, Mrs. Brown and her husband Newell moved to Smithville where they were very active in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. He preceded her in death in September, 2005.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Bevin and Kathie Brown, Troy, Al.; Gary and Mickie Brown, Lakeland, Fl.; sister, Jessie Lee, Portland, Tn.; and four grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 6:30 p.m. on Saturday at Morning Point in Collegedale with Pastor Dennis Clark officiating.
