If George Washington could only see things today(even in local politics) he would see that both political parties are more concerned with holding on to power, than with helping or representing the people. As an Independent candidate for sheriff, the people of Hamilton County can be assured that I will have their best interest at heart. I will not be indebted to any party or interest group; only to the people of Hamilton County.
There are 104 voting precincts in Hamilton County. The Democrats and Republican parties both have the resources to place signs, raise campaign funds and have representatives at each of these precincts. They have the ability to contact citizens in each area via volunteers to have telephone solicitation of votes, and voter’s records of how each citizen voted in previous elections. (I will be working 104 times harder than my opponents.) I was told that an Independent has never won a political race in Hamilton County. To be able to represent the people of Hamilton County I believe you need to only be indebted to its citizens.
You don’t have to look far and wide to find where my loyalty lies. It has always been here in Hamilton County. I am the most diversified candidate in the running, in addition to law enforcement, emergency services and medical/legal forensic investigations I have the business experience to do the best job. My career has never place me in the forefront with popular political figures but I have always been there for the citizens when duty called.
I will continue to run as an Independent to be able to serve the people of Hamilton County. I will not go into office being indebted to any political party, group or corporate entity. Our government belongs to the people. Candidates are elected to Office to represent the people, and not to just achieve personal gain.
If you want a sheriff that will be fair for the young and older citizens “and do what is right” for the majority of the citizens, I just may be who you are looking for. If so I would appreciate your comments and support.
