Crime Stoppers: Burglaries In Fort Oglethorpe
posted April 2, 2008

This week the Crime Stoppers feature is identifying subjects wanted in two business burglaries in Fort Oglethorpe.

On March 21, Fort Oglethorpe officers responded to a burglary at the North Georgia Home Health at 122 Battlefield Crossing and found the front glass door was shattered.

The suspects had entered the business and stolen five PC towers, three flat screen monitors, two laptop computers and one large flat screen monitor.

While officers were there they noticed the front glass door of the business next door at 132 Battlefield Parkway, Century 21, had also been shattered. After talking with the manger of Century 21, it was determined one flat screen monitor and two laptop computers had been stolen.

Both of the businesses sustained approximately $7,500 in damage.

The two burglaries are similar to a recent burglary at the Remco Business complex in Fort Oglethorpe, where the suspects were driving a white SUV, possibly a Ford Expedition or Ford Explorer.

To report any information on these burglaries or the suspects, call Crime Stoppers at 698-3333. The call is confidential and could result in up to $1,000 cash reward.
