Crye-Leike, Realtors Broker Maggie Armstrong has listed for sale the Motorcycle Ranch along Highway 127 in Pikeville, Tn., one hour north of Chattanooga. The property lists for $399,000 and features tepees, guest rooms, full service kitchen and dining, outdoor pavilion, parking and RV hookups on five acres.

According to Ms. Armstrong, since purchasing the property three years ago, owners Carl and Barbara Fowler built their ranch from the ground-up. She says the couple created an oasis for motorcycle riders and enthusiasts traveling through the East Tennessee Region looking for clean and convenient accommodations.

“The Fowlers planned on living here throughout their retirement,” said Ms. Armstrong. “Because of Florida’s downturn in real estate they’re rethinking their plans and decided to put their dream on the market.”

Ms. Armstrong says the property is most recognized by the grouping of tepees at the front entrance along Highway 127.

“The property has spectacular views of the nearby ridges and plenty of open space,” said Ms. Armstrong. “Fall Creek Falls State Park, shopping and entertainment are just minutes away.”

According to Ms. Armstrong, Carl Fowler is a second-generation Native American and that’s the reason for the tepee theme. She says it’s immaculate with it’s seven guest rooms, rocking chair porch, furnished restaurant, an outdoor pavilion that’s perfect for dancing and karaoke and of course the tepees.

“Carl Fowler is the sweetest… an understanding baby boomer who wants this place to be a clean, safe getaway for anyone enjoying the beautiful mountains and valleys of Middle Tennessee,” said Ms. Armstrong. “Even at his busiest, he never turns anyone away and if he doesn’t have a tepee available he’ll furnish a sleeping bag or tent.”

Ms. Armstrong is a broker in the company’s East Brainerd Branch office located at 1510 Gunbarrel Road. She is a licensed Realtor in Tennessee and Georgia, assisting buyers and sellers in and around Hamilton, Walker, Catoosa, Rhea, Bledsoe, McMinn and Bradley counties.

Since 2003 Ms. Armstrong has specialized in residential real estate with a focus on bed and breakfast properties, historic and older home, commercial and first time homebuyers. She is a Graduate Realtor Institute, a member of the Chattanooga Association of Realtors, the Tennessee Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. With CAR she has served on the Grievance Committee for three years and two years with the Public Relations Committee.

Prior to joining Crye-Leike, for nine years Ms. Armstrong owned and operated the Culpepper House Bed and Breakfast in Atlanta.
