Ms. Morgan said, "I live in the Rossville area with my daughter, Abbie, who attends Rossville Elementary. I have two grown sons living in Denver and Ireland, and one grandson.
"I am self-employed as a website designer with a focus on small business needs. Occasionally I am also a substitute teacher in the Walker County schools.
"I am involved with a number of advocacy groups that deal with problems of aging, the environment, families dealing with issues of substance abuse, and providing food or services for those in need. I also help with my daughter’s Girl Scout troop when needed.
"My goals as a state representative include introducing legislation to lower the state tax on gasoline, and reduce the high number of foreclosures and bankruptcies in Georgia. I am deeply concerned with preserving our unique natural resources in District 2, and seek to help develop the economic potential of our agricultural heritage in the District.
"I ask the citizens of Walker and Dade counties not only for your vote in July and November, but also that you contact me personally to discuss the issues with you. I hope you will invite me to your civic groups to share my ideas on preserving the quality of life we love in Northwest Georgia."
