Los Dorados Mexican Restaurant at 3512 Dayton Boulevard will celebrate its grand opening on May 5. The festivities include a ribbon cutting at 11:30 a.m.
The restaurant is owned by Javier Valdez Jr. and his father, Javier Valdez Sr., both of whom are veterans of the restaurant industry.
Los Dorados offers a menu with a wide variety of dishes, including fajitas, chimichangas, burritos and tacos, as well as steaks and fish entrees.
The restaurant, located by the Sonic Drive-In of Red Bank in the old Shoney’s building, is open seven days a week.
