Signal Crest UMC Plans Auctions
Proceeds To Benefit Habitat For Humanity Project

Signal Crest United Methodist Church is sponsoring a silent and live
auction Wednesday, May 14, and Saturday, May 17, to help fund a Habitat for Humanity home on Signal Mountain. The silent auctions will be
Wednesday from 5 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. The live
auction will be Saturday beginning at 5:15 p.m.

Everyone is invited for both auctions. Finger foods and free childcare
will be available Saturday from 4 to 6 p.m.

Items for the auction include golf, restaurants, Jeff Fisher autographed
football, Henry Winkler books, golf at the Honors Course, a large painting
by Susan Parks, photo session with Eddie Black, kayaking lessons and trip
on the Cartacay River with the Rev.Lew Kizer, hikes with Les and Kay
Wallace, canoeing trip with Bill Mitchum, picture of Tiger Woods with
Certificate of Authenticity, football tickets, babysitting, dinners and
other items still coming in.

Food for the auction is being coordinated by Kim Harpe. Food items will include meatballs, stuffed mushrooms, fruit and cheese tray, crackers, vegetable tray with dip, hot and cold appetizers and dessert bars, cookies or brownies.

Signal Crest is one of several churches and other organizations on the mountain who plan to participate in the community project to fund and
construct the home this fall.
