James E. Royal, 73, of Chattanooga, died on Friday, May 2.
He is survived by his sons, James and Mike Royal; stepdaughter, Sonji Walker.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at National Cemetery with military honors.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
