Siskin Presents Free Workshop

Siskin Children’s Institute will present a free workshop entitled Sensory Integration in Everyday Life. Children with sensory integration dysfunction may have difficulty going on errands, community playgrounds, going to get a haircut, receiving a bath or going to the doctor.

Join Sarah Powe, occupational therapist and related services coordinator at Siskin Children's Institute as she offers tips and helpful tools for families of children with sensory processing challenges. Jennifer Williams, instruction & curriculum coordinator at Siskin Children's Institute and a parent of a child with sensory needs will provide practical solutions to handling situations and activities that sensory processing difficulties can bring to everyday life.

This workshop will be offered Tuesday, May 20 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. in the Siskin Children’s Institute Training Room located at 1101 Carter Street in downtown Chattanooga. It is free and open to the public.
