BB&T Relocates Chattanooga Financial Center
posted May 7, 2008

B&T has relocated its financial center at 6903 Lee Highway to Hamilton Place at 2120 Gunbarrel Road.

A grand re-opening, featuring the BB&T No. 2 Chevrolet driven by Clint Bowyer in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Two NASCAR tickets and a spa package also will be given away during the grand re-opening festivities.

The Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce will help with a ribbon-cutting and open house for the new 8,000-square-foot financial center from 2-5 p.m. on Monday. The financial center officially opened at the Gunbarrel location on April 14.

“Relocating our financial center to the Gunbarrel Road location will make banking with BB&T more convenient,” said Chattanooga City Executive Tracy Brown. “Hamilton Place is a more central location in the area and the larger facility allows us to house retail, mortgage, merchant services and commercial banking under one roof.”

The new financial center will continue to be open from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Friday. The drive-up window will be open from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday.
