Had Longtime Banking Career In Chattanooga

William Pollak
William F. Pollak, 65, died on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at his home.

Bill was born in Braddock, Pa. He had a longtime banking career in Chattanooga and had served on the Board of Directors for Team Evaluation and Engstrom Services. Bill was active as a Eucharist minister at St. Jude Catholic Church and Memorial Hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Julia Pollak; two sons, Joseph (Amy) and Eric (Allison) and four grandchildren; sister, Peggy Jean Hill (Howard) of Atlanta, Ga.

A funeral Mass will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Saturday, at St. Jude Catholic Church with Father David Carter and Father Bob Hoffstetter officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church or a charity of your choice.
