Tom Glavine will start against Pittsburgh Friday night as Atlanta opens a four-game series with the Pirates in Pittsburgh on Friday night. The Braves won without the red-hot Chipper Jones having a big day at the plate Thursday. Atlanta, 14-4 at Turner Field, hopes to take their home success onto the road.

The left-hander (0-1) was given a big early lead against Cincinnati on Sunday, but couldn't survive the required five innings to get the victory.
