The newly signalized intersection of Hixson Pike at the Bi-Lo Shopping will be put into full operation on May 12, at 9 a.m., weather permitting.
Cassandra Smith Road will be closed to thru traffic for utility work beginning at 8 a.m. on Saturday, and will re-open by 8 p.m. that same afternoon. The actual closure will be at 5506 Cassandra Smith Road. Detours will be posted using Fairview Road. and Adams Road.
