Beatrice “Bea” Brummett, age 76, a resident of Cleveland, died on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, in a Chattanooga Hospital.
Mrs. Brummett was the daughter of the late Ora Lee Gill Shannon and William Shannon. Her husband, Charles Brummett and her grandson, John McClure Jr. also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Brummett was retired from Cedar Vista Hospital in California and she also worked at the Pine ridge Treatment Center here in Cleveland. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse with 10 years of service. Mrs. Brummett attended the Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include her daughter, Valerie Willis and her husband Donald of Cleveland; her sons, Allen Brummett and his wife Judy, Charles Brummett and his wife Tammy all of Fresno, Ca., and Steven Brummett from San Louis Obispo, Ca.; nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Draper of El Sobrante, Ca. and Wanda Dunnagan of Fresno, Ca.; several nieces and nephews also survive.
The Remembrance of Life Memorial Service will be conducted Friday evening at 6:00 from the Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy with Tim Coalter officiating. The North Ocoee Chapel of the Jim Rush Funeral Homes has charge of the Cremation Services.
