Samuel “Sam” Wesley Moody, 91, of Sale Creek, Tn., died on Monday, May 12, 2008. Mr. Moody retired from the Unites States Navy as a Chief Warrant Officer having served during World War II.
His wife, Polly Moody and a son, Larry Moody preceded him in death.
He is survived by his daughters, Patricia Huber & Linda Jane MacNutt; sister, Beatrice Wooten; grandchildren, Wesley Huber & Alissa Sugrim; and two great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, at Williamson & Sons Funeral Home with 2nd Lt. Avery officiating. The interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation is 5 To 9 on Tuesday.
