The city-county Planning Commission on Monday approved rezoning for the former Hills Florist, next to Battle Academy on Main Street.
Eric Cummings and Gavin Thomas said they plan to redevelop the 14,000 square foot, one-story facility.
But they said they have no specific plans as of yet.
They are residents of the burgeoning Main Street district and have been involved in the Stanton Row townhomes and other projects.
They both said there has been dramatic change along Main Street, and it will enjoy another transformation in the next few years.
