Mrs. Maggie Ruth Durham Blevins, 88, of South Pittsburg, Tn., died on Tuesday, May 13, 2008.
The daughter of the late John William and Sarah Ellen Beene Durham, she was a lifelong resident of Marion County and was a member of Kimball Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Blevins, brother, Russ Durham, and sisters, Dorothy Blevins and Millie Reeves.
She is survived by her children, Carl and Pat Blevins, Kenneth and Pat Blevins, Austin and Judy Blevins, all of Jasper, Tn., Mildred (Lexie) Tyler of Chattanooga, Mary Dell of Signal Mountain, and Bobby and Sheila Blevins of Kimball; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; brother, Horace Durham of Jasper; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at the South Pittsburg Chapel of Rogers Funeral Home on Thursday, May 15, at 2 p.m. CST with Brother David Hoschar officiating. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 4-9 p.m. CDT at Rogers Funeral Home in South Pittsburg.
