The Lookouts seem to favor scoring early and often coming up with six runs in the first two innings while beating Carolina, 6-2, in a matinée game in Zebulon, NC.

Ben Jukich (3-2) became the first regular Chattanooga Lookout pitcher in 2008 to throw a nine-inning complete game. He gave up just 5 hits and 2 earned runs while lowing his ERA to 2.39.

Chattanooga got four runs in their first at bat, and two more in the second inning. They were kept scoreless the next seven inning.

Jukich's performance gave Chattanooga's bullpen a much needed rest.
