Kenco Logistics Has Record-Breaking First Quarter
posted May 14, 2008

Kenco Logistics Services reported a record-breaking First Quarter 2008, placing 1,950,000 square feet of modern, climate-controlled warehouse space under third-party management. This brings Kenco's current total to 22 million square feet in facilities across North America.

According to Kenco Logistic Services, LLC Chairman and CEO Gary Mayfield, "New warehouse operations are providing complete logistics services for consumer goods manufacturers ranging from kitchen and bath products to vacuum cleaner and small appliance parts. Facilities are located across the country, in California, Ohio, and Kentucky. We have also expanded our route delivery services into Canada, and I am pleased to report that so far in 2008 an additional two million square feet has been contracted."

Mr. Mayfield added, "This new business comes from existing clients Electrolux and Stryker, plus new Kenco customers Honeywell, Kohler, and Mervyns Department Stores. All of these new opportunities are a result of leveraging our focus on Operational Excellence, allowing us to be more responsive to customer requirements in an increasingly competitive environment."
