The Chattanooga Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., will host the Eighth Annual Candace Golf Classic on June 10 at Windstone Golf Course in Chattanooga. The event will begin with a luncheon held at 11:30 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m.
“The Candace Golf Classic has become one of our highly anticipated events in Chattanooga and the support we receive from the community is excellent," said Gloria McKeldin, tournament director and president of the local NCBW chapter.
“We are excited to be able to continue this tradition for the 8th consecutive year. We hope that everyone comes out to participate in the fun and to share the day with us.”
Tournament day will feature a shot gun start at 1 p.m., a putting contest, straightest drive, and hole prizes. There will be three flights with first, second and third place winners in each flight. Participants will also receive lunch and dinner from Outback Steakhouse. Door prizes and an awards ceremony will bring the day to a close.
Entry fees for the golf classic are $500.00 per team or $125.00 per person. Hole sponsorships are available for $100.00.

The mission of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women Inc., Chattanooga Chapter is to serve as an advocate on behalf of women of color through national and local actions and strategic alliances that promote its national and international agendas on leadership development and on gender equity in health, education, and economic development.
