Spherion Staffing will hold a ribbon cutting and open house on May 29 at 6120 Shallowford Road, Suite 106. The ribbon cutting, arranged by the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce, will take place at 4 p.m. The open house featuring wine tasting and hors d’oeuvres will last until 7 p.m.
The employment staffing agency opened in 2004 and moved to its current location the next year.
Spherion Staffing is owned by Al Gainey and Stacey Reece, who have been in staffing as a franchisee of Spherion Corporation for 11 years. Both owners are experienced in the banking industry. Gainey has an M.B.A. degree from Brenau University, while Reece graduated from North Georgia College and State University.
