Jason Bell Acquires "Green Design" Accreditation

Jason E. Bell, a certified plumbing designer with Advanced Energy Engineering & Design, Inc. has been designated as a leadership in energy and environmental design accredited professional by the United States Green Building Council. Mr. Bell becomes AEED's third LEED-AP on staff.

The leadership in energy and environmental design green building rating system is a voluntary, consensus-based national rating system for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings. LEED addresses all building types and emphasizes state-of-the-art strategies in five areas: sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials and resources selection, and indoor environmental quality.

Celebrating its seventh year in business, AEED, Inc is an engineering firm experienced in design and consulting services in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and facility audits. AEED, Inc. has been involved in several LEED projects in Chattanooga, including Two North Shore on Manufacturers Road and Northwest Georgia Bank.
