The Chattanooga Locomotion will be
playing its 5th game of the season against the Cincinnati Sizzle. The Sizzle will be traveling to Chattanooga this Saturday for the game at Red Bank High School.
The Sizzle is owned and coached by Elbert L. "Ickey" Woods who played for the Cincinnati Bengals from 1988-1991. He is best known for the "Ickey Shuffle" end zone dance he performed after he scored a touchdown.
The Sizzle's record this season is 1-3 while the Locomotion's is 2-2.
The game will be played at Red Bank High School, with a 7pm kick-off,
The Chattanooga Locomotion is a franchise of the National Women's Football Association, www.womensfootballcentral.com, which is comprised of over 30 teams from Maine to California.
The Locomotion ended their 2003 and 2004 seasons with as Southern Division Champs. In 2005 and 2006, the Locomotion made it to the Second Round of the playoffs. In 2008 the Locomotion went undefeated in the regular season and were Southern Division Champs for the 3rd time in their history.
