Officer Michael Joiner Is Respect For Law Award Recipient

The Scenic Chattanooga Optimist Club hosted their annual Respect for Law program on Tuesday at the Walden Club. Through the club’s Respect for Law event, the club honored a deserving officer from the Chattanooga Police Department.

This year’s recipient of the Respect for Law award was Officer Michael Joiner, a K-9 officer in the Special Operations Division of the Chattanooga Police Department. Officer Joiner was recognized by Assistant Chief Mike Williams; Jerry Patton, SCOC President and Gary Behler, Chairman of the SCOC Respect for Law program.
