For the past five weeks, 58 rising 3rd – 5th graders explored engineering concepts through hands on activities, team-based projects, and field trips at the Urban League’s summer camp, A World In Motion.

Campers put their knowledge to the test on June 24 when teams of six built jet toys, steel can rovers and skimmers and competed against each other.

A World of Motion was made possible with support from Unum and 21st Century Community Learning Centers. To obtain information and dates for camps offered during the fall and spring breaks, please call the Urban League of Greater Chattanooga at (423) 756-1762.
