Signal Mountain Lions Install Officers, Give Out Money And Awards by Ruth Robinson posted June 29, 2008 Frank Adkins was named the Melvin Jones Fellow, Kyle Johnson received a four-year college scholarship and Bill Thornton, president of WRES, accepted a $500 check from the club. Lions District 12-0 Governor Bill Stuart installed the officers in a program based on the Lions Club motto, We Serve. "We are who and why we are because we serve. You can never do a kindness too soon because you never know when it is too late." Officers installed and their offices are:
