Struble To Speak At Lee Commencement

Dr. Dan Struble
Lee University will welcome Dr. Dan Struble, president of Montreat College in North Carolina, to address the graduates at the July 26 commencement ceremony.

Dr. Struble came to Montreat College from his position as vice president for Principal Gifts at the United States Naval Academy Foundation in Annapolis, Md. Dr. Struble established and designed the organizational structure and process for what became the US Naval Academy Foundation, including co-designing the $175 million campaign for the foundation. He has taught at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles and at Occidental College in addition to teaching Sunday school for young people.

Earning his Ph.D. in American Politics from the University of Southern California, Dr. Struble also holds a M.A. in Comparative Politics from USC, and a B.S., with merit, in Naval Architecture from the United States Naval Academy.

Dr. Struble is married to Karen Brown Struble, Ph.D. The Strubles have two children, Amanda and Benjamin.
