UTC's School of Nursing has received a three-year Advanced Education Nursing grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration of the U S Department of Health and Human Services.
The grant award will total nearly $900,000 over three years and will support the Tennessee and Mississippi Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Partnership, a program which will expand the CRNA program that UTC offers in partnership with North Mississippi Medical Center.
Spearheaded by Dr. Kay Lindgren, Director of the School of Nursing, this application was ranked #1 of more than 100 applications from throughout the country. This marks the School of Nursing's third major HRSA grant in two years.
