Easter Cindy Ellis, 81, of Cleveland, Tn., died Monday evening in a local health care facility.
She was the daughter of the late William Goforth and Callie Wilcox Goforth. Her husband, Roy Ellis also preceded her in death along with her sister, Elsie, and her brothers, Rader and Stanley Goforth.
She was retired from American Uniform, where she had worked for 46 years. She loved flowers and was an avid gardener.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth Ellis and his wife Sylvia, Jimmy Ellis and his wife Gwen, all of Cleveland; two grandsons, Brent Ellis and his wife Melissa of Cleveland, Daryl Ellis and his wife Freedom of Hamilton County; two great-grandchildren, Abby Ellis and Cody Ellis; a very special sister, Ella Humphrey of Cleveland; sister, Magdalene Owens; one brother, Letcher ‘Doodle’ Goforth of Polk County.
A Remembrance of Life graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bill Ellis officiating.
Jim Rush Funeral Homes, North Ocoee Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
