Authorities said a Bradley County man called to say he had shot himself and was threatening to harm himself further. The man was found dead at his home a short time later.
At approximately 11:24 a.m., the 911 Center received the call from Green Hills Drive.
Bradley County Sheriff’s deputies and a Cleveland Police Department unit arrived upon the scene and followed established protocols before entering the residence.
Upon entering the house, deputies found a 43-year-old man dead, apparently from self-inflicted injuries.
An investigation by the BCSO Criminal Investigation Division and the Bradley County Medical Examiner is continuing.
