Beverly Marsh Harvey, 80, of Chattanooga, died on Wednesday, July 2, 2008, at a local hospital.
She was born in Rockford, Il., to the late Russell and Edith Marsh. She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip K. Harvey, Jr., and brother, George R. Marsh.
She was a longtime member of Central Presbyterian Church and a current member of Northside Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Harvey graduated from the University of Chattanooga and was a former employee of Chattanooga Wheelbarrow Company. She served many years as a Sunday school teacher and was a past PTA officer at Missionary Ridge Grammar School.
Survivors include her two sons and daughters-in-law, Philip K. (Patricia) Harvey, III, of Harrison, Tn., Marshall M. (Laura) Harvey, of Ooltewah; four grandchildren, Katie Boerema, Caroline Harvey, Scott Harvey, Robert Harvey; two brothers, Richard J. Marsh, of Rockford, Il., Russell H. Marsh, Jr., of Davis, Il.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Joe B. Martin, IV officiating.
The family will receive friends from 5–8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Chancel Renovation Fund at Northside Presbyterian Church.
