Marion Timmons Lee, 93, of Chattanooga, died on Tuesday, July 1, 2008.
She was a lifelong member of St. Elmo Baptist Church and attended First Baptist Church of Chattanooga. She was a homemaker and devoted to her family.
Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 57 years, Robert E. “Red” Lee; daughter, Dorothy Olivia Lee Burrows; parents, Samuel Timmons and Huldah Grace Long Timmons.
Survivors include her children, Nancy (Glenn) Sturdivant, of Chattanooga, Huldah Grace “Tookie” (Bobby) Bridges, of Chattanooga, Connie (Wes) Goddard, of Louisville, Tn., Robert E. (Sally) Lee, of Nashville, Tn.; eight grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Burrows officiating. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memory Garden South.
The family will receive friends for visitation from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the North Chapel.
