First Volunteer Bank announced that Craig Miller and Alinda Richards have joined the retail banking team as market leaders for the Shallowford Road and South Pittsburg offices respectively.
“I am excited to announce Craig and Alinda joining the First Volunteer family,” said Patti Steele, president and CEO of First Volunteer.
“Craig and Alinda both have extensive banking experience and will certainly be an asset for our customers in Chattanooga and South Pittsburg,” she added.
Mr. Miller brings 11 years of banking and management experience to his new position; while Ms. Richards brings more than 12 years of banking experience to her new role.
Mr. Miller is a graduate of the University of Michigan where he earned his bachelor's degree in business administration. He worked 12 years with Wal-Mart - eight of those in management prior to launching his banking career three years ago.
He, his wife Michele, and daughter reside in Chattanooga. He has been active in the Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Richards attended Cleveland State Community College and is a graduate of the Florida Career Institute. She joins First Volunteer from another financial institution where she worked for 12 years, most recently as a Business Banker.
She, her husband Larry, and daughter reside in Jasper. She has been active with Chattanooga State’s Business Advisory Board and Executive Women International.
First Volunteer Bank is a $647 million financial institution with 25 branch offices throughout Eastern and Middle Tennessee. First Volunteer operates five branch offices in Chattanooga and three offices in Marion County.
