On behalf of the Fraternal Order of Police - Rock City Lodge 22, I want to express my gratitude to the owners of Miller Industries for their contributions. They continue to go above and beyond supporting the men and women of Law Enforcement in our communities.
Our local FOP Lodge, Rock City 22, is committed to helping the men and women that are fighting crime each and every day. We also focus our mission to the needy with programs like our annual Shop with a Cop Christmas and donations of time and money to various children’s groups throughout the county.
Miller Industries has been a great supporter allowing us “Cops” to connect with kids and families while being a positive role model as not only police officers, but as caring people as well.
On Monday, in front of the Hamilton County/Chattanooga Police Memorial; Miller Industries again stepped up and donated a generous amount to the family of Fallen Grundy County Deputy Shane Tate, who many of you know, was gunned down on June 5 while serving a warrant on Monteagle. Deputy Tate was a good officer and better yet, a great dad to his five kids. Even though Deputy Tate was not from Chattanooga or Hamilton County, The Millers sincerely had the desire to help his family at their greatest time of need.
