Dorothy Kirk Brackin, 88, of Cleveland, died on July 16, 2008.
Born October 1, 1919 in Greene County, Tn., she was a long time resident of Cleveland and a 1937 graduate of Bradley High School. She was a member of Stuart Park Baptist Church.
She was the youngest child of Andrew and Dora Mathews Kirk. She was predeceased by her sisters, Martha Rice and Annie Mae Bates, her brother, Robert Kirk and her husband, Roy Brackin.
She is survived by a son, David Brackin and his wife, Elizabeth Brackin of Young Harris, Georgia; grandson, Matthew Kern and his wife, Jessica and three great-grandchildren all of Hainesville, Il.
A graveside service will be conducted Monday at 1 p.m. in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.
