Allegiant Air Ending Chattanooga To Fort Lauderdale Flights
Will Continue Service To Orlando, Tampa

Allegiant Air announced today it will end scheduled service on several routes out of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., including two flights a week between the Chattanooga Metropolitan Airport and Fort Lauderdale.

However, Allegiant service will continue between Chattanooga and Orlando and Chattanooga and Tampa.

Allegiant is also ending flights between Fort Lauderdale and Allentown, Pa..; Greensboro, N.C.; Huntington, W.V. and Tri-Cities, Tn.

Customers with reservations Sept. 7 and beyond will be contacted directly by Allegiant for reaccomodation.

Allegiant inaugurated service from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport Nov. 14, 2007.

The low-cost carrier will continue to provide nonstop, low-cost service between Fort Lauderdale and three U.S. cities: Greenville-Spartanburg, S.C.; Knoxville and Plattsburgh, N.Y.
