John Hester came through with a one-out single to left-center, knocking in Gerardo Parra for the game-winning tally in the bottom of the 10th against reliever Sean Watson
(1-1).
Each team did plenty of scoring early with Danny Dorn’s two-run homer in the
first putting the Lookouts (49-49, 12-16) on the board while Rusty Ryal nailed a two-run shot of his own in the bottom of the first to knot the score.
More runs were put on the board in the second as Chattanooga grabbed the lead on a tworun triple by Sean Henry, but the BayBears (41-56, 12-15) answered with a Bryan Byrne two-run double and an RBI single by Parra to take a 5-4 lead.
The contest stayed in the BayBears’ advantage until the eighth when Michael DeJesus slapped a two-out,
two-run double to tie the game off Jose Marte.
Lookouts Highlights
- Sean Henry went 1-5 with a triple and 2 RBI.
- Eric Eymann went 2-5 with a run.
- Danny Dorn went 1-5 with a HR (14) and 2 RBI.
- Chris Valaika went 1-5 with a run.
- Drew Stubbs, who is batting .429, went 1-4 with a double, walk and a run.
- Michael DeJesus went 1-3 with a double and 2 RBI.
- Craig Tatum went 2-4 with a run.
- Mike Hrynio pitched a perfect inning.
- Sam Lecure yielded five of the Bay Bear runs, including a first-inning homerun, during six innings of work.

The teams have two more games in Mobile before the Lookouts return home Tuesday. Monday is an off-day.
