Little Must Serve 18 Years In Kidnapping Case
posted July 21, 2008

Jereme Little, who had dodged several convictions until he was finally ruled guilty by a jury in April, must serve 18 years in prison.

Prosecutor Boyd Patterson urged Judge Rebecca Stern to give him the maximum 25-year term, saying, "If anyone deserves a maximum sentence, it is Jereme Little."

He said proof in the case showed that Little pistol whipped Demetrius Grayson and made him eat dog feces.

Little's attorney said he had spent a year and a half in jail for a charge that was later dismissed.

Little had been found guilty of especially aggravated kidnapping.

There had been a mistrial in the case before, and murder charges against Little in another matter had been dismissed after juries twice could not reach a decision.

Little must serve 100 percent of the time.

Judge Stern earlier dismissed robbery counts against Little in the case.
