Thelma Kirby Smith, 91, died on Tuesday, July 22, 2008.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Frank Smith; and daughter, Charlotte Dover.
She was a member of Center Point Baptist Church where she taught a Sunday school class for 60 years.
She is survived by her daughters, Martha (Alton) Canada, Jean (James) Penland; son, Richard F. (Ann) Smith Jr., all of LaFayette; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday at Center Point Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be Ricky, Rick, Jake, Mike Penland, Scott Canada, Jeremy McGill, Josh, Thomas and Rich Smith.
Entombment will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m.
The arrangements are by Wallis-Wilbanks Funeral Home of LaFayette.
