Worked For Brainerd Baptist Church For 23 Years

Jerry Clayton McGill, 76, of East Ridge, died on July 23, 2008 in a local hospital.
A longtime resident of Chattanooga and North Georgia, he was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He retired from Brainerd Baptist Church after 23 years.
Mr. McGill was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Theresa McGill and two brothers, Robert and James McGill.
He is survived by his wife, Sally McGill and a nephew whom he loved as a son, Andy Harris, Ft. Oglethorpe.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Bill Elder and Rev. David Swanson officiating. Burial will be in Tennessee Georgia Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Friday after 2 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, 3239 Battlefield Parkway, Ft. Oglethorpe.
