An earlier police blotter story in Chattanoogan.com said Barbara Gunter was charged with trying to take two bottles of stool softener from Wal-Mart on Gunbarrel Road.
Barbara Gunter is actually the loss prevention officer who spotted a woman concealing some merchandise.
Barbara Harris was charged with theft under $500 and taken to the county jail.
Chattanoogan.com regrets the error and is glad to make the correction.
