He was a native of Miami, Fl., but had lived in the Chattanooga area for many years. He attended Silverdale Baptist Church. His grandmother, Maria Lavergne, preceded him in death. Survivors include his parents, Hilda and Edgar Keelin of Chattanooga; sister, Angie Roberson of Chattanooga; brother, Luis E. Keelin of Kenosha, Wisconsin; two nieces, Nikki Eslenger and Sandii Massey both of Chattanooga. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:30 a.m. with Dr. Steve Euler officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Iglesia Bautista Nueva Vida c/o Baptist International Mission, Inc., 8614 Harrison Bay Road, Harrison, Tn. 37341.
