Lookouts Lose Game One Thursday, 3-2, Then Win Game Two, 3-1

The Lookouts scored just a run in two bases loaded no-outs situations and were done in by Marshall Hubbard's two-run fifth inning home run. West Tennessee nipped Chattanooga in Game 1 at AT&T Field Thursday, 3-2.

In Game 2, Lookouts' pitchers fanned 11 and Chattanooga won the seven inning game, 3-1.

Game 1

Both teams left nine runners on base.

The Lookouts had nine hits with eight coming from three players: Chris Valaika and Eric Eymann had three hits each for the Lookouts. Drew Stubbs was 2-for-3.

Sam LeCure (7-5), pitching five innings, gave up all three runs. He scattered seven hits, walked three and struck out three.

Robert Manuel finished the final two innings. He yielded a hit.

Game 2

- Justin Turner went 1-3 with a solo HR (6).
- Danny Dorn went 1-3 with a solo HR (15).
- Chris Denove went 1-2 with a double and a run.
- Pedro Viola struck out 6 in 3.2 innings, allowed just 1 hit and an unearned run.
- Ramon Geronimo allowed just a walk in 2.1 innings and he struck out 4.
- Derrik Lutz pitched a scoreless inning to get the save.
