Auditions Being Held For "Black Elk Speaks"

The Hamilton Community Theatre and the Chattanooga Audubon Society announced auditions for the dramatic production of "Black Elk Speaks," a story of Native American history from the Native American perspective.

This is part of a major cultural event in the Chattanooga area. Nationally-known Native American musicians are also scheduled to perform.

All are encouraged to audition, regarless of ethnicity.

Audition dates are:
Sunday, Aug. 17 at 7 p.m.
Monday, Aug. 18 at 7 p.m.

Audition Location: Audubon Acres, 900 North Sanctuary Road, Chattanooga, Tn. 37421.

Directions: From I-75 take exit 3A, East Brainerd Road East. At the intersection of East Brainerd Road and Gunbarrel Rd., turn right, heading south (away from Hamilton Place Mall). Continue until the road ends in the parking lot of Audubon Acres.
